Practice CDL Test 1
This CDL Air Brakes test will prepare you to pass EVERY state’s DMV air brakes exam. To drive a truck or bus with air brakes, you need to know the information in the CDL Air Brakes section of the CDL manual. To pull a trailer with air brakes, you also need to prepare for the Combination Vehicles exam. On the official DMV written exam, you must get at least 80% to pass.
The questions on every state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) official exam are taken directly from that state’s CDL manual. All CDL manuals are based on FMCSA (FEDERAL) regulations, which do NOT change from state to state. Likewise, our practice tests are based on the information in your state CDL manual.
